Little Otter Announces $22 Million Series A Investment In Child And Family Mental Health

On January 6, 2022, Little Otter is announcing one of the largest Series A rounds for a children’s mental health company at this stage, $22 million led by CRV. The mother-daughter cofounders – Rebecca Egger, previously of Chan-Zuckerberg Institute and Palantir, and Dr. Helen Egger M.D., previously head of child psychiatry at NYU Langone and Duke University – are intent on delivering a new model to overhaul how we think about and treat children’s mental health. Since its launch in May 2021, Little Otter has seen 45% month-over-month growth.
